Maricopa Meadows is an absolutely beautiful and amazing community here in Maricopa. It is home to Maricopa High School, Maricopa Wells Middle School and Maricopa Elementary. The community has GORGEOUS waterfalls that dump into a lake that is great for taking family photos of or sitting by just to listen to the soothing sound of the falls. Around the falls is a huge park and playground for the community to use. It is a public park for all of Maricopa to use and it is beautifully maintained all year round.
As you may have guessed this neighborhood is perfect for families, I mean it houses each level of schooling all in one large community. Along with the park and schools Maricopa Meadows has a 27 hole disc golf course, basketball courts, picnic areas, pickle ball and hosts movies in the parks on a huge inflatable projector screen. Being over the overpass Maricopa Meadows is very close to Copper Sky Park and the Casino/movie theater at Ak-chin.
Not only is this community absolutely stunning with the falls but it is very family friendly and community oriented. The high school has a performing arts center, that they allow for business to use when needed, for example DSPA my daughters dance school performs their end of the season recital there. Maricopa Meadows is absolutely perfect for all families and a huge part of Maricopa, AZ.
At the front entrance of Maricopa Meadows there is a huge park area that offers so much. One thing you can find her at the park is two lighted basketball half courts. These are surrounded by beautiful grass areas and open to the public.
Right next tot he basketball courts there is a pickle ball court. This court is also open to the public and yes it is called a pickle ball court but there are other sports you could use this for as well.
There are picnic areas that are available to residents as well. They are equipped with grills for cooking on during a birthday party or a small get together at the park. These picnic ares can be found at many of the playground areas including the large one at the front entrance.
There are a total of 10 playgrounds throughout Maricopa Meadows. The front entrance park is by far the largest with slides, swings, jungle gyms and so much more. The other smaller playgrounds are scattered throughout Maricopa Meadows for easy quick trips to the park.
Throughout Maricopa Meadows is a Disc Golf course. It is a 27 hole course with options to play the full 27, 18 holes or 9 holes. Maricopa Meadows homeowners associations hosts yearly disc golf tournaments which is fun for the community to particitpate in.
There are three schools located within this community. You can find Maricopa Elementary School, Maricopa Wells Middle School and Maricopa High School. This community is very family friendly and has a lot to offer the kids in our city.
